Artist's Comments

New character time! Naomi is a Draakor, a half-human half-dragon species of :iconssatch:'s creation. She's very jumpy and energetic, and can't sit still for long periods of time. She loves being outdoors, especially when she's exploring. She's surprisingly well-mannered, despite all her energy - she doesn't have any attitude.

Now, as for the drawing itself - there's so much stuff wrong with this. I do like how the pose and the design itself came out, but there are lots of anatomy problems in the face, and the colour just got killed by my scanner. It looks a lot better in real life, but I suppose this could be worse. :) Enjoy, and feel free to give critique if you want!

Draakors are (c) to :iconssatch: (and possibly :iconamrini:? I'm not 100% sure.)
Art and character are (c) to me.

EDIT: I want to add a background to this, but I'm not sure just what should be in it. Any ideas?

Hmmm, background . . .well you could do a starry night. A setting/rising sun. ummmmm the Aurora Borealis. A number of things can go on in there. But I think it looks fine the way it is.

Yeah...but I think a sunset/sunrise would compete with her colours, though. I kind of want to keep it simple. But thanks for all the suggestions! :hug:

Well I agree that there are a few errors in anatomy in some areas, but no need to point that out seeming you already know ^^ It's a good pic though.
